Taking Reedsburg brews back to the roots

The 1904 Brewhaus was crafted from the history of the building itself, along with the strong German roots of its new brewmaster. The first beer was brewed in the building in 1904 by the Clossey family, but that was only the beginning. Our goal is to honor all of the buildings’ previous brewers that came before us by brewing both classic and innovative brews, while also providing our community with a comfortable place to eat from lunch hour until late-night.

About the Brewmaster

The brewmaster at The 1904 Brewhaus is lifelong local resident Emily Kellner. After attending Reedsburg Area High School, she went on to Madison to attend college and pursue her passions in long distance running. During this time, she worked in the Wisconsin Dells managing Moosejaw, which is where she discovered her love for the brewing and restaurant industries. She continued managing other restaurants for the next 8 years, until she decided to take the leap and make her dream come true of running her own microbrew in her hometown.
